Flabbergasted for winning first place on a fashion design competition at SPECTRUM (my school event) it went awesome that day and the news came with quite a shock
So the competition was basically a 3 hours clothes making in a team of two, and yesterday I was working with my awesome friend Tania, (links to her blog but she's neglected it for years i think..)

A collection? Hobby? Well I've liked bracelets since I was in primary school and look how far I've come *I think* Theses are gifts from my besties, friendship bracelets from my CISV friends, things I bought while rummaging through the markets of Bali and sidewalks of Jogja.. I love wearing lots and lots of messy bracelets around my wrist and put people in awe..
But yeah the whole collection does not include mall bracelets.. *ermm the ones I bought at the mall* for I keep them somewhere else in a different case..
And don't you think friendship bracelets are something really special? It is to me <3

Itulah yang saya rasakan sekarang. Terkunci.

Seperti berada di sebuah taman yang luas, dikelilingi oleh pagar tinggi dan hitam. Pagar yang kokoh terkunci namun menyisakan jeruji jerujinya bagi saya untuk melihat keluar atau sekedar mengulurkan tangan menggapai angin. Tidak bisa keluar, meskipun rasanya ingin sekali memetik sebuah bunga yang tumbuh diluar pagar tersebut. Memetik bunga yang tumbuh tak terlalu jauh dari pagar tersebut dengan indahnya. Hanya dapat merasakan ingin bisa menyentuh dan mencium wanginya. Menanamnya di taman untuk disiram dan dirawat setiap hari. Untuk dicintai. Namun saya hanya bisa merasa ingin. Bunga itu ada tanpa bisa diraih, meskipun saya sudah sekuat tenaga menjulurkan tangan melewati jeruji yang ada. Meskipun bunga tersebut telah menyondongkan badannya akibat tiupan angin yang berdesau menuju tangan saya.

Mungkin begini saja cukup. Saya harus senang dengan keadaan dimana saya bisa melihatnya, bisa menyentuh ujung kelopaknya namun tak pernah bisa memiliki.

Namun saya tak pernah berhenti berharap bahwa suatu hari saya akan menemukan kunci untuk membuka pagar tersebut sebelum bunga tersebut akhirnya layu.

I was out to do some grocery shopping as a favor to my mom and when i came back my room is full of AJ's song lyrics and theres a white rose on my bed, then my friends just came out singing with a *ehm* cake *sort of* and candles

I also went to Bali for this summer.. *again* *ehm* well yeah. So.

Its another breezy but supernice summer and we took lots of awesome beach pictures..

I went walking along the roads of Seminyak and bought a really cute summer dress it felt oh so light.. you know those type of dresses that goes whoosh when u spin on your feet..

One night I had my dinner at Warisan, a cafe and a gallery and the place has everything.

Awesome food, awesome interior, awesome gallery slash store..

Took pictures of those little gimmicks they sold there but its not so good so I'm just going to show this really catchy piece of big art, right above the cafe's seats, on the wall...

How nice the atmosphere of the place is..

Two Course Meal

So my cousin's bf which is soo awesome at cooking came here and currently I'm staying over so
This one day we spend the morning shopping for groceries and the day to cook and by the evening our families sat down together for a candle light home dinner :)
Too bad we cant find Garam Masala its this Indian seasoning we're supposed to use to cook the salmon
And the next day when we went to the store the stuff is there.. bummmer.

Went to Java Jazz Fest and witnessed an awesome Jam Session by Fourplay at Friday March 4th 2011 :) Too bad Lee R is no longer a member of the jazz band but still they produce good music. They even did 2 encores..
Here's my favourite page of quotes from the Java Jazz magazine..

And I went there not knowing what to do at 9 pm so I dropped in and checked out the Maurice Brown Effect and Maurice sure kills in that fusion jazz. His stage performance is just so carefree and he plays neat trumpeting. One big discovery for my music..

Sebuah lukisan yang sifatnya abstrak tidak pernah membentuk suatu gambar yang spesifik dan ketika kita melihatnya, kita akan mengernyitkan dahi dan bertanya dalam hati apa maksud dari lukisan tersebut.

Tapi bagi saya estetika ada pada maksud dari lukisan itu. Isinya adalah apa yang berada dalam pikiran si pelukis sendiri dan dilukiskan tidak secara gamblang, lalu kita akan membayangkan sendiri apa sebenarnya arti lukisan itu. Bukan sesuatu untuk dipikirkan

tapi untuk dirasakan.

After 4 years of knowing and being quite close to my friend Jessica, I finally could understand about her madness on rockets.. Its everwhere. her blog, her textbooks, her daily planner, her palm.. And now I find it neat. Im never the one who enjoys airplane flights but I'm imagining what it felt like to be in one..

And yes I kinda like rockets now. It has this sense of thrill in it, will it fly or will it fall? and will it make it to the moon, way past it through the stars, or will it fall back to earth?
